Diabetes diagnoses trending up in Yampa Valley

Licensed diabetes educators and physicians throughout the Yampa Valley say each diabetes and prediabetes diagnoses proceed to extend regionally.

Valley News – Mobile crisis initiative can’t find staffing

LEBANON — A long-anticipated program to offer in-person support to people experiencing mental health and substance use crises in New Hampshire is within reach, but difficulties finding workers is causing delays in its full rollout.

Yakima Valley mobile COVID-19 vaccine clinics continue

No appointments, documentation required for vaccination

YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash. — The Yakima Health District is offering more than a dozen mobile COVID-19 vaccine clinics this week across Yakima County.

As of  last month, 57.8{4096c6f39d44714c45f5b36755bfd7eaecf49ae82832f8cdb01e260e21826c23} of individuals 16 years or older countywide had initiated vaccination and 51.4{4096c6f39d44714c45f5b36755bfd7eaecf49ae82832f8cdb01e260e21826c23} had been fully vaccinated.

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Early detection is important with every cancer, and Steward Health Care has a new tool for screening breast cancer.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – As demand starts to drop for the COVID-19 vaccine, Jordan Valley Community Health is taking the shots on the road.

Jordan Valley Community Health Center purchased a trailer, which they’re calling the Mobile Vaccine Unit, with CARES Act funding.

Lehigh Valley Health Network unveils new fleet of mobile COVID vaccination vehicles

The Lehigh Valley Health Network has three new vehicles as part of its COVID-19 Mobile Vaccination Unit.

The cars were donated from Bennett Toyota in Allentown. The health network began its mobile vaccination unit in January as a way to reach large concentrations of people eligible for the vaccine, but unable to get to hospitals or drive-through clinics. Thanks to Bennett Toyota in Allentown, Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) has a few new tools when it comes to distributing COVID-19 vaccines to people throughout the region. Bennett Toyota donated three new vehicles to LVHN, which will be used as part of LVHN’s COVID-19 mobile vaccination unit.

DHR Health mobile unit to conduct large-scale clinical studies in Rio Grande Valley

Starting next week, DHR Health plans to begin clinical trials on new COVID-19 treatments. They were just one of nine hospitals in the country selected to help with research. Staff will be working out of a mobile unit in what DHR Health officials are calling research on wheels.
