A mobile unit to enforce speed limits is among $627,500 in capital expenditures that Bexley City Council approved by a 7-0 vote Aug. 24.

An estimated 608,570 U.S. residents will die of cancer this year, according to the American Cancer Society. And Philadelphia has the highest cancer rate among the country’s 10 biggest cities.

Residents of the Desert Highland Gateway Estates and neighboring north Palm Springs areas will have access to weekly medical exams and visits as the result of a $575,000 initiative from the Desert Healthcare District and partners.
