Ukraine battle: BP below stress to promote stake in Russian agency

Oil large BP is below stress from the UK authorities to dump its 20% stake within the Russian state-owned oil agency Rosneft, the BBC has been informed.
Enterprise Secretary Kwasi Kwarteng spoke to BP boss Bernard Looney on Friday following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
He “left Mr Looney in little question concerning the seriousness of presidency considerations about BP’s overexposure to Russian pursuits”, an official stated.
BP has stated it’s “carefully watching the regarding developments” in Ukraine.
