Orange County Clerk’s Office hosting free mental health webinar

In observance of Mental Health Awareness Month in May, the Clerk’s Office will be hosting a free virtual “My Health Matters” webinar on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to raise awareness about mental health. Recognizing the rise of anxiety, stress, and uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, they will share helpful resources available to Orange County residents.

Orange County opens mobile vaccine site at Silver Star Park Gymnasium in Pine Hills

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Officials with Orange County opened a mobile vaccination site at the Silver Star Park Gymnasium on Monday.

Organizers said the goal is to vaccinate 1,000 people a day this week. As of Monday morning, though, appointments were still available.

Last week, the site was at Barber Park, where organizers allowed both appointments and walk-ups.

Shepherd’s Hope hosting vaccination event | West Orange Times & Observer

Shepherd’s Hope will offer COVID-19 vaccinations Monday, April 5, to qualified residents at its location at 455 Ninth St., Winter Garden.

The vaccination effort is in partnership with Sen. Randolph Bracy, Change for the Community Inc., and the Florida Department of Emergency Management for the State of Florida Vaccination Program.

“There is a need in the community to provide access to this lifesaving vaccine,” said Pam Gould, president and CEO of Shepherd’s Hope. “Shepherd’s Hope is honored to team up with Senator Bracy to offer vaccines for many underserved neighbors (who) have not been able to access other locations.”
