WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A few organizations held anti-violence awareness events Saturday, hoping to unite the community and bring an end to the increasing violence.

After a long hiatus owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the DuPage County Fairgrounds in Wheaton is slowly but surely getting back to the business of holding entertainment events — including indoor pavilion shows.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — The School District of Palm Beach County is ramping up hiring with just three weeks to go before the start of the new school year.
