WF Area Food Bank hosting events for Hunger Action Month

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – September is Hunger Action Month and the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank is doing their part to help the community.

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A few organizations held anti-violence awareness events Saturday, hoping to unite the community and bring an end to the increasing violence.

After a long hiatus owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the DuPage County Fairgrounds in Wheaton is slowly but surely getting back to the business of holding entertainment events — including indoor pavilion shows.

This Sunday sees the return of The Great Midwestern Train Show on a mostly monthly basis. Then on Aug. 21, Zurko Midwest Promotions‘ popular Wheaton All-Night Flea Market returns for nocturnal bargain hunters.

School District of Palm Beach County hosting 2 hiring events this week

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — The School District of Palm Beach County is ramping up hiring with just three weeks to go before the start of the new school year.

There will be a School Food Service Job Fair today from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Seminole Ridge High School Cafeteria at 4601 Seminole Pratt Whitney Road in Loxahatchee.

The district is looking to fill part-time food service assistant positions across the county.
