Riverworks is hosting its 3rd annual “Music on the Beerline”, a one-day music event on Friday, August 27, 2021, at 5 pm on The Beerline Trail (right behind the Family Dollar on Holton Ave). (KNSI) – The Disc Golf Pro Tour Elite Series comes to Central Minnesota this weekend.

Around 160 of the best disc golfers in the world will be competing in the Preserve Championship in Clearwater. The athletes will be competing at Airborn Disc Golf Preserve on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Professional Disc Golfer Juliana Korver was a champion in the 90s and early 2000s and returned to the tour a little more than a month ago. She says getting back on the course was like riding a bike.

Friday After 5 is presenting “Christmas in July,” a first-time theme for the downtown event. Featuring all the holiday decor and festivities, attendees can get their picture taken with Santa, purchase Christmas-themed snacks from food trucks, and have their first chance to try out the City’s outdoor ice skating rink.

PELHAM – Pelham City Schools Foundation is hosting their second casino-themed “Night of Purpose” event Aug. 14, which raises money to support the organization’s efforts.

The event will be held at Venue 31 and will feature casino-style games, a silent auction, raffle prizes, music and catered food.

“We started this event to help support our efforts,” PCS Foundation Treasurer Lauren Little said. “Last year we raised over $10,000 for our initiatives for teachers, students and the community.”
