Company health professionals will collect blood samples via a finger prick to measure health factors that can identify risks for chronic conditions like heart disease, diabetes and hypertension and gather other important information such as blood pressure, height and weight measurements and body mass index.

Health district employees set up a vaccination clinic Friday in the visitor’s locker room at Waco ISD Stadium. A testing site was also operating outside the stadium while the Waco High and University High football teams were playing a scrimmage on the field.

Grand Forks Public Health staff have scheduled eight COVID-19 vaccination clinics this week in Grand Forks proper, plus one each in Gilby and Northwood.

At those clinics, health care providers can administer doses of the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine or second doses of the two-shot Moderna and Pfizer vaccines. Six Flags Great Adventure is holding a coronavirus vaccination on three days this month, offering a free ticket to the Wild Safari Drive-Thru Adventure for anyone who gets inoculated at the theme park.

The clinics will be held from 10 a.m.- 7 p.m. on Thursday and then again on Aug. 11 and Aug. 17 at the membership building in the park’s outer mall in partnership with the Ocean County Health Department, Six Flags said Monday.
