A man with twin U.S. and Iranian citizenship was arrested in Chicago on Friday on expenses of promoting know-how to the Iranian authorities.

Kambiz Attar Kashani, 44, is accused of promoting software program and digital gear to the Central Financial institution of Iran via entrance companies within the United Arab Emirates, the Division of Justice mentioned Tuesday. The U.S. authorities classifies the CBI as a risk to nationwide safety attributable to its ties to terrorist teams.

Catherine Serou: Suspect charged with murder in death of missing American student in Russia

The Gorodetsky City Court in the region said the suspect, identified by the court only as P., has been detained until August 15 for murder. There is no indication from the court that the suspect has entered a plea.

Serou, 34, was a student at the State University of Nizhny Novgorod, east of Moscow. Her body was found in the Nizhny Novgorod region on Saturday.

The court alleged in a statement Sunday that the suspect picked Serou up in his car last Tuesday, June 15, before killing her about an hour later.

WEST MELBOURNE, Fla. – West Melbourne police say a host of city ordinances regulating adult entertainment were violated Thursday night during an all-male revue they raided at Westside Sports Bar & Grill, News 6 partner Florida Today reported.

Undercover agents with body cameras attended the male strip show at 3026 W. New Haven Drive on Thursday night. The bar’s owner, 31-year-old Gary Kirby, is accused of knowingly and illegally operating the strip show after being cautioned by police in the past.

Chinese businessman charged in scheme to steal GE trade secrets

The FBI busted a Chinese businessman’s scheme to allegedly steal technology from General Electric for his own startup.

Chi Lung Winsman Ng, aka Winsman Ng, 64, was indicted this week on charges of conspiring to steal trade secrets, the Department of Justice announced Friday.

Ng purportedly worked with at least one other person, who was a GE engineer for more than seven years, to take GE’s proprietary information regarding MOSFETs, a common component in computers and other electronics, according to the indictment.

Mother arrested, charged with murder of 4-year-old son after calling 911

A South Bound Brook woman has been arrested and charged with the murder of her young son, authorities announced on Saturday.

Elina Gutti, a 38-year-old South Bound Brook resident, is accused of killing her four-year-old son, Aiden Singhania.

Gutti called 911 just before 2:30 a.m. on Saturday to report she had unexplained injuries on her wrists, according to a release from the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office. Responding officers from the South Bound Brook police department found the child with severe lacerations in his bedroom.
