WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. — SSM Health has partnered with the Sauk County Health Department to provide an on-site vaccination clinic for tourism workers in the Sauk County area.
The mobile clinic will be held at the Glacier Canyon Conference Center in the Wilderness Resort on Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The clinic will also be available for staff working under the J1 visa program, according to a news release Tuesday.
“The Wisconsin Dells and the thousands of tourism and hospitality staff employed at area resorts and destination areas are wonderful ambassadors for the state of Wisconsin,” said Mo Kharbat, SSM Health Wisconsin Regional VP of Pharmacy. “We are happy to provide them with this on-site vaccination clinic so that many of these workers can continue to safely support their families and our communities.”
Health officials worked with local employers from the hospitality industry to schedule appointments for roughly 1,000 area tourism workers. Walk-ins will not be allowed at the clinic.
To date, SSM Health has administered more than 186,760 doses of vaccine.
